Please I need an urgent HELP.

I am presently assembling my first micrcontroller project.

I programmed the microcontroller with an instruction that would toggle the pin P0.2 every 5 seconds.

I connected VCC and EA to 5v supply. pins 18 & 19 to a 12 MHz crystal coupled with 30pF capacitors.

The first set of instructions before toggling the pin (P0.2) clears the four ports.

I connected pin 20 to the ground.

Whenever I power up the Microcontroller, port0 is always at logic zero but pins in other ports assume random values. Resetting the microcontroller by placing pin 9 high for about 2 seconds makes no difference.

Placing the pins of all ports in various logic levels does not change them from their actual values.

Please I would appreciate all suggestions and possible source of solution.
