Many sites administrators are "Little Hitlers" about not allowing you to post your project/info/question on any site other than their own.
These cyber-dictators are only serving their own self interest by trying to monopolize information that you might need someday to their site alone.
We encourage you to freely post your stuff on as many sites as you can for the following reasons:
QUOTE
1. WHY POST HERE IF PROJECT/TOPIC IS AVAILABLE ON ANOTHER SITE/FORUM? WHY DUPLICATE THE EFFORTS OF ANOTHER SITE?
We fully encourage double posting as much as possible. Nothing is more frustrating than knowing there is something you need at a site that is down either temporarily or permanently.
Always have back-ups... PLEASE DOUBLE POST!

2. WHY UPLOAD THE SOURCE-CODE IF THERE IS A LINK TO PROJECT SITE?
Many great project have been lost because the main project site is gone. Or perhaps the site is temporarily down when you need it most. Although uploaded code may not be the latest version at least a user has something to work with.
Nothing more agravating than broken links to needed information. Quite often a great site is moved and old links get broken.

3. WHY INCLUDE CODE IN POSTING IF EVERYTHING IS CONTAINED IN UPLOAD?
Including your main code allows a user to evaluate usefulness before downloading or visiting site. Perhaps only a small routine is needed.

4. WHY INCLUDE LINKS IF CODE IS UPLOADED?
If you have project/code on another site you should include a link so that user has option of following link to look for more recent updates and there is always the possibility that an uploaded file can be corrupt or incomplete.
