i just started on microcontroller not long ago and has not been
taught c programming.
i need some help here for my school mini-project(thats what they call it).
although it is a "mini" project...i am having some difficulty in getting around the project.
this is the question:
The following message will be automatically displayed on the LCD.
"SP CORE VALUES" on the first line.
To display 2 core values(one word at a time) at the second line on each press on S3(RB0).
After all the messages have been displayed, allow the entire sequence to be repeated with each S3 press.
the core values are: Self-Discipline, presonal integrity, care and concern, openness, responsibility and excellence.
additional requirement:
- incorporate an "interrupt" feature. this is to allow you to skip a long message while it is being displayed when the the button(RB0) is pressed.
- produce a short "beep" everytime a line is displayed.
- create the messaging as "moving messages" to appear from the right most pixel and then moving to the leftmost pixel.
and i have only the lab experiments for my references, attached are the lab experiments. also the microcontroller is PIC18F452 and the LCD controller is Hitachi HD44780.
