I am a total newbe with programing AVR's and am thinking of getting a butterfly or STK500 board. To start I need to have three or four switches and leds. Push a switch led goes off, when all leds are off hit the switchs again leds go on.
I can use a breadboard with the leds and switches with the butterfly, but the STK500 has them on the board. I would rather spend $20 then $80, if the butterfly will work, and then up grade to the STK500 if I can get the hang of programing.
So my question is will the Butterfly work for me?
