Hello everyone i have to make a mini project for my institute so i am completely new to avr but i know Basic and C but i cannot program for AVR till now but i am searching for it.

Well i have my scope on AT89C2051 so could any one tell me how to build it.

The project is seems to be ease it contains a counter (2-byte var) and whenever the Serial Input came into the MCU then MCU must return its current status of that variable to computer........ (it also contains one LCD to show the current value)

So hoping that i will find little bit help
