i'm just new but i have a problem, i bought myself a little MICROCHIP PICKkit 1 - FLASH STARTER KIT. i thought easy to start with;)
well, i want to make a alarm system, that sends a pulse through one of the ports (on the J3 CONNECTOR) or a continous signal. and i want a port (editable) to receive the signal and act with it. sendig another signal to another port. so that i can trigger the alarm
any tips?
i'm hoping that it's simpel like: PORTJ3.3=1 (and that 5volts will be put on port 3. and something like:

if(PortJ3.5==1){
PORTJ3.6=1;
}
Is something like this possible?
or do you know a way to program the connectors?
